PETERSBURG – At its 2018 reorganization meeting, Upper Township Committee saw Curtis Corson returned for a full three-year elected term after having filled in for the term of now-Freeholder Jefferey Pierson. He also served several years ago as a committee member.
Richard Palombo was approved for another term as mayor (his 19th year) and as a committee member (his 21st); Edward Barr was approved for another term as deputy mayor. Palombo cited as 2017 administration accomplishments: a boat launch in Strathmere; study for asbestos abatement of old Township Hall; creation of an Economic Development Committee; acquisition of an ambulance; and municipal website improvement.
