PETERSBURG – At Upper Township’s Committee meeting Oct. 9, Committee member Hobie Young announced that two builders, who wanted to remain anonymous, had donated materials, equipment and work crew time to repair and renovate the press box at the football field at Caldwell Park on Stagecoach Road. “They provided new siding as well as other improvements because this press box was really in bad shape. It looked great. However, I’m really disturbed to also tell you that the press box was vandalized, with the siding ripped off, new doorknobs ripped off. It’s really disrespectful and I’m asking that if anyone has any idea as to who did this, please contact me so we can find out who committed this vandalism.”
