OCEAN CITY – Local police continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating an autistic teenager who has been missing for more 72 hours.
According to a police spokesman, Natalie Woollerton, 16, was last seen Nov. 28 at approximately 2 a.m. when she voluntarily left her residence. Police stated she took her mother’s 2009 Lexus sedan without permission.
The light blue-colored vehicle has a temporary New Jersey license plate P101925. The vehicle may have second New Jersey license plate, SL487K, stated Ocean City police Capt. Steven Ang. The vehicle may also have damage to its rear from an accident.
“Natalie does not take any medications but may become confused if approached by law enforcement or unknown persons,” stated Ang on Dec. 1, adding the teenager is not believed to have a cell phone or cash when she left the residence. “Natalie does not have any driving experience and may be confused when driving on highways.”
Woollerton has social ties to Ocean City and Upper Township.
Information about Woollerton has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) said police.
