Two Arrest Warrants Issued for Jewelry Theft

CAPE MAY – Prosecutor Robert Taylor of the Cape May County Prosecutors Office and Chief Robert Sheehan of the Cape May Police Department report the issuance of two arrest warrants for the May 8 theft from Artisans Alcove Estate Jewelers. The subjects identified are, Robert Weathers, 53, of Gwenn Oak, MD, and Robin Nelson, 50, of Baltimore, MD.
Both defendants are being charged with second degree theft of jewelry valued at approximately $100,000.
The investigation remains ongoing thanks to the combined efforts of the Cape May City Police Detective Division, the Cape May County Prosecutors Office, and the Baltimore County Police Department of Maryland, with additional warrants expected to be issued.
