OCEAN CITY – A public town hall meeting will be held Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon to provide updates on Ørsted’s Ocean Wind offshore wind project.
According to a release, the meeting will be held at the Ocean City Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Ave. The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about Ørsted and Ocean Wind.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit and interact with Ørsted employees and consultants who will be on-hand to discuss specific aspects of the company’s plans to build a 1,100 MW offshore wind farm that will power more than half a million New Jersey homes.
Ocean Wind will contribute to the state’s renewable energy goal of supplying more than 3.2 million New Jersey homes with offshore wind power by 2035.
