Tonight’s Jackpot for first N.J. Powerball Drawing At $115M

TRENTON — The jackpot for Wednesday’s multistate Powerball drawing has grown to $115 million annuity, $56,400,000 cash option.
Wednesday’s drawing will be the first jackpot drawing for Powerball that New Jerseyans can participate in. New Jersey started selling Powerball tickets on Sunday.
Powerball is now available in 41 states, as well as the District of Columbia and Virgin Islands, with drawings held on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11 p.m., on the New Jersey public television network.
New Jersey is already part of the multistate Mega Millions game. It’s drawn on Tuesday and Friday nights.
