WILDWOOD ─ According to Wildwood City Engineer James Oris, an increase of funds was necessary to complete the Water Tank Evaluation and Improvement Program. City commissioners passed a resolution Feb. 27, designating additional monies. Commissioner Peter Byron asked why the increase was needed. According to Oris, due to time and the contract, those funds were necessary; as stated in the resolution, “due to increase in scope of work.” The increase totaled $36,500. The project’s new total is $134,500. Mayor Ernie Troiano said the paint scheme for the tank on Garfield Avenue is already gaining “national attention.”
