STONE HARBOR — The borough’s beachfill project will start Saturday, Aug. 29 at 111th Street beach, if Hurricane Danny doesn’t postpone it.
Pumping is scheduled to start Sept. 2 and the project could be finished by Sept. 10.
Business Administrator Ken Hawk said contractor Great Lake Dredge Company would temporarily store equipment at Cape May Harbor to wait out the storm, if need be.
If there is no storm delay this weekend, North Wildwood’s project is slated to begin Wednesday, Sept. 9 and start pumping Saturday, Sept. 12.
