TRENTON – State court proceedings are cancelled Oct. 28 for judges to attend a mandatory full-day educational conference focusing on the areas of gender violence and bias.
According to a release, all state court judges – Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Superior Court and Tax Court – will take part in the training.
Only emergent matters will be heard in those courts. State courts will remain open for all other purposes, including the filing of legal matters.
Municipal courts will not be affected because municipal judges will receive similar training on Dec. 9.
