Signage Solution for Event Parking

PETERSBURG – A resident who lives on Sunset Drive, which abuts the entrance to Amanda’s Field in Upper Township on Route 50, presented complaints to Upper Township Committee Oct. 9, about the out-of-control parking during events. “Whenever there is an event, cars are everywhere including on the grass where they should not be. It’s a safety concern because it’s very difficult to see to get out with the cars parked so close to the street curbs.” Committee member Hobart Young said, “I fully agree with you and we need to do something.” Mayor Richard Palombo asked Township Engineer Paul Dietrich and Business Administrator Scott Morgan to work with Public Works to install signage to better manage the situation.
