WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest administration is discussing the possibility of a referendum for one liquor retail license. Input from the public was being gathered as of July 24.
A “dry town” since 1940, Mayor Don Cabrera has commented on the need for a license to draw diners to Crest eateries. Based on the borough’s population, only one license would be allowed.
Residents’ opinions have ranged from positive to cautionary. If a referendum is held, it would be in November.
