Shots Fired Outside Wildwood Pub Early Thurs. Morning; One Injured

WILDWOOD – Wildwood Police Department responded to a report of shots fired outside of the Cattle N’ Clover Pub, located at 3817 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood Jan. 30 at approximately 12:08 a.m.
Upon arrival, police discovered a male, later identified as Kenneth Clarke, 39, of Wildwood, shot in the left calf.
A subsequent investigation by the Major Crimes Unit of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and Detectives from the Wildwood Police Department was conducted and several witnesses were interviewed. Clarke was subsequently transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for his injuries, where he was treated and released. This investigation is on-going and further details will be forth coming pursuant to the investigation.
