By Rachel Rogish

NORTH WILDWOOD ─ “I’m proud of the North Wildwood Police Department every day,” Mayor Patrick Rosenello said July 3 as two officers accepted their promotions and a new officer took his oath. Officers Justin Robinson and Bryan Skill, serving respectively since 2012 and 2013, accepted their promotion to sergeant as friends and family watched July 3. Beach Patrol member Vincent Deritis will attend the Police Academy in the fall. Police Chief Matthew Gallagher said the officers are “the future of the department” and are community oriented, the first “to step up to the plate.”
