SEA ISLE CITY – At recent Sea Isle City’s City Council meetings, several residents have expressed concerns about the implementation of the on-going construction project to improve Sea Isle Boulevard.
Addressing those concerns, Business Administrator George Savastano said, “Traffic has been diverted to the north side of the boulevard and work has begun on elevation and surcharge of the south side.
“Traffic will remain on the north side of the causeway until completion of the roadwork. The current schedule is to complete the roadwork for the causeway prior to the 2019 summer season.
“The boulevard construction is not taking longer than anticipated. Traffic will remain on the north side of the causeway until completion of the roadwork.
“The current schedule is to complete the roadwork for the new causeway prior to the 2019 summer season. The 2018 traffic will not be any more affected than it has been in the past during this project.”
