SEA ISLE CITY – At its March 26 meeting, Sea Isle City Council passed unanimously an ordinance on second reading that amends its zoning provisions to prohibit the sale, cultivation, manufacturing, and testing of medical and non-medical marijuana in all zones and overlay zones within the municipality. There was no discussion among members and no public comment. From commentary made at previous meetings, that ordinance is a reflection of Sea Isle’s aversion to allowing any marijuana activity within city limits. Additional municipalities such as Ocean City also are taking similar steps while others are taking a wait-and-see approach depending on what the governor and state legislators ultimately decide regarding that issue.
Sea Isle City – I am in the Wawa today ,Thursday , at Sea Isle blvd and Rt.9 and in comes 3 Sea Isle City police cars . As Sea Isle tax payer I cannot help but wonder why 3 Sea Isle police cars would be in Ocean…
