Rio Grande MVC Agency to Move to North Cape May

A new MVC agency will open Feb. 26.

By Press Release

RIO GRANDE – New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) customers are advised that the current Rio Grande Agency location will permanently close after business hours Feb. 23.
The move was reported here Jan. 7, 2015. At that time, a spokesperson at the MVC told the Herald the agency would move in six to eight months.
When the lease on the former site expired, the MVC sought a larger facility.
On Feb. 26, a new larger, modern permanent MVC agency will open, less than five miles away, at 3305 Bay Shore Road, Breakwater Shopping Plaza, North Cape May.
Customers who require MVC services Feb. 24 or Feb. 25 may visit the following agencies:
Cardiff
6725 Black Horse Pike, Harbor Square
Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234
Vineland
9 West Park Ave
Vineland, NJ 08360
Directions and additional agency locations are available on our website, www.njmvc.gov.
The MVC reminds customers to always check our website before any visit to a local office and to take advantage of “Skip the Trip” license renewal process and online services such as vehicle registration renewals, driver abstract requests, and surcharge and restoration payments.
