WEST WILDWOOD – According to Borough officials, Christopher Ridings has resigned from his position as administrator, which he has held since 2011. Ridings served as deputy police chief in Mt. Laurel Township before taking the administrator position.
In a telephone interview June 20, Ridings said he is not resigning for political reasons but for personal ones. Ridings emphasized that he would not fill former commissioner Cornelius Maxwell’s seat. Ridings said the rumors of his being appointed commissioner are not correct.
No comment was given on who would fill Ridings’ and Maxwell’s positions. Ridings would “finish out” operations for the next few weeks.
