WILDWOOD – City Commissioners passed an ordinance Oct. 23, amending handicapped parking locations.
According to the ordinance, Wildwood has “a limited number of residential properties, which do not have on-site parking” and a number of those properties “are occupied by persons with disabilities.” Commissioners have deemed it necessary to establish restricted parking zones.
To obtain a handicapped parking spot, a resident must show proof of insurance and valid driver’s license to Police Chief Robert Regalbuto. Proof of disability must also be provided.
