Republicans, Democrats of NJ’s 2nd District Protest at Congressman Frank LoBiondo’s Office

MAYS LANDING — On Tues., Feb. 21, Democrat and Republican constituents of New Jersey’s 2nd District led a protest urging Congressman Frank LoBiondo (who is also a member of the House Intelligence Committee) to support a bipartisan independent investigation of the Russian ties to Donald Trump, his campaign aides, and the current administration. As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, Congressman LoBiondo has the power to initiate an independent investigation.
“Every American citizen has a right to know exactly how much influence the Russian Government has over our current administration,” says Elizabeth Volz, Founder of United Progressive Democrats and organizer of the protest. “It is in everyone’s interest to get to the truth by quickly initiating a bipartisan and independent investigation into Russian influence on Donald Trump and members of his administration.”
With over 300 members and rising, United Progressive Democrats is one of many organically growing groups in the nation that lead regular citizens (Many who have never been politically involved before) to organize and resist Donald Trump’s dangerous and dividing agenda.
