Redistrict Reform to Be Topic of LWV Discussion

COURT HOUSE — Fair Districts of New Jersey is a non-partisan coalition led by the League of Women Voters (LWV) of New Jersey advocating to reform the legislative redistricting process in the state.                                        
According to a release, the organization will host a session to learn about gerrymandering, how redistricting currently works in New Jersey, and how citizens can improve the process to make sure district lines are drawn in a way that is transparent, representative and impartial.                                         
The public is invited to learn more about redistricting in New Jersey and reform efforts currently underway at the Old Court House Building, Route 9, Court House, Oct. 11, 7-8 p.m.                                       
The event is presented by the League of Women Voters of Cape May County.
