Post Office in MLK Center

WHITESBORO – The rusting trailer that housed the Whitesboro Post Office is no more. The post office branch has been temporarily relocated to space inside the Martin Luther King Community Center as U.S. Postal Service representatives complete a study to determine the best permanent location for the branch.

Middle Township Business Administrator Elizabeth Terenik said the Postal Service and the township expect to designate a permanent location in Whitesboro. The community of about 2,200 has expressed strong support for maintaining its separate identity and its own ZIP code, 08252.
