Port Authority Update on Conditions at Transportation Facilities

TRENTON – The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reports the following update on conditions at its transportation facilities as of 11:30 Nov. 4.
Airports:
All five airports, LaGuardia, JFK International, Newark Liberty International, Teterboro and Stewart International are fully operational with normal flight activity.
AirTrain JFK service is fully operational. AirTrain Newark continues to operate at full service taking passengers to the NEC where they can take Amtrak (limited services) to Newark Penn Station and Philadelphia.
Tunnels and Bridges:
The Outerbridge Crossing, George Washington, Goethals, and Bayonne bridges and the Lincoln Tunnel are open.
One lane of the south tube of the Holland Tunnel is open to bus commuters traveling eastbound from New Jersey to Manhattan from 5:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and westbound returning to New Jersey from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
PATH:
PATH rail service continues to be suspended. PATH engineers, staff and third party contractors are working around-the-clock with the goal of resuming partial service between New Jersey and New York as soon as safely possible.
Port Authority Bus Terminal:
Many carriers have returned to full service.
World Financial Ferry Terminal:
There is limited weekend ferry service, with more expanded service on weekdays. For specific details on locations and times, please visit nywaterway.com.
Ports:
The Elizabeth Port Authority Marine Terminal in Elizabeth opened today. Port Authority staff and our partners are working around the clock to continue ramping up to full service. Four cargo vessels will arrive at Maher Terminal and one cargo vessel will arrive at APM Terminal. Both Maher and APM had power restored Saturday. Recovery and cleanup efforts continue at the Port Authority’s other maritime facilities, which currently remain closed. Restoration of power by our utility providers is a primary requirement in getting all of the ports operational.
Port Authority staff and engineers remain on site at all Port Authority facilities to inspect conditions, assess damage, and perform repair work.
