Port Authority Reopens Bridges

By Press Release

TRENTON – The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has reopened Outerbridge Crossing, George Washington, Goethals and Bayonne bridges. However, all motorists are urged to avoid driving unless absolutely necessary.
Port Authority staff and engineers are on site at all Port Authority facilities to inspect conditions and assess damage. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of our workers and those who use our facilities. We will resume operations at our other facilities as early as possible and when it is safe to do so.
For up to date information on our facilities follow us on Twitter @PANYNJ. For further information for New York State, visit http://www.governor.ny.gov/stormwatch. For New Jersey, visit www.ready.nj.gov.
