Plan for NJ Avenue Project

North Wildwood Logo

NORTH WILDWOOD ─ A massive project looms in the reconstruction of New Jersey Avenue. As Cape May County continues its plan to repave the entire road, city officials wish to implement improvements while coinciding with the county’s project.

According to Mayor Patrick Rosenello, the county will reconstruct from Chestnut to Fourth avenues, narrowing traffic to increase pedestrian safety. North Wildwood wants to widen sidewalks on Olde New Jersey Avenue, providing café-style seating.
Designating taxi and Uber drop-off and pick-up zones adds another element to the project’s scope.
