NORTH WILDWOOD ─ Mayor Patrick Rosenello explained upcoming improvements to City Hall property as City Council awarded a contract for pedestrian access improvements Oct. 2. Due to multiple falls, the city will remove the trees lining the perimeter. Their root systems are disturbing the sidewalk area, creating potential hazards.
According to Rosenello, all sidewalks by City Hall will be replaced. Fresh sod and an irrigation system will be installed for the lawn. Crepe myrtle trees will be planted in the present trees’ place along with large planters for flowers. All access improvements will be ADA compliant. Rosenello said the improvements should be finished by spring 2019.
