Pinelands Council Officers Sworn

WOODBINE — The Executive Committee of the Pinelands Municipal Council was sworn March 28, by Assemblyman John Armato, Legislative District 2, at the reorganization at the Buena Vista Township Municipal Building.
Officers are chair, William Pikolycky, mayor, Borough of Woodbine; vice-chair, Deborah Buzby-Cope, mayor, Bass River Township; secretary: Karen Vaccaro, designee,  Manchester Township; treasurer, Patti Gross, mayor, Maurice River Township;  member-at large, James Renwick, designee, Shamong Township.
Upcoming meetings of the council will be May 29 at Weymouth Township (Atlantic County); July 24 at the Pinelands Commission headquarters; Sept. 25 at Estell Manor City; Nov. 27 Shamong Township.
Designees from the Pinelands communities are urged to attend.

The July meeting will be a joint meeting with the Pinelands Commission and will include a Pinelands orientation for newly elected or appointed and an update for other elected or appointed municipal officials.
This orientation will be at the Richard J. Sullivan Center, 15 Springfield Road, Pemberton Township.
