COURT HOUSE — Middle Township Chief of Police Christopher M. Leusner, Kiwanis President Carrie Maleski and PBA representative Ronald Miller announced a joint venture to provide a child safety seminar on Sat., April 16.
The event will take place from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m. at the Clarence Davis Sports Complex on Goshen Road.
The event will coincide with the township Easter Egg Hunt. Parents can stop by to have a Fingerprint/DNA kit completed for safekeeping. In addition, parents can receive information about gun safety and have their child safety seat inspected by a certified child safety seat officer.
The Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House volunteers will help process attendees and provide light refreshments.
PBA Local No.59 has members that are volunteering their time to complete the DNA/Fingerprint kits and inspect Child Safety seats.
Sheriff Gary Schaffer will also provide officers to help inspect child safety seats.
Middle Township Police Department will provide thefingerprint/DNA kits for the event.
