WILDWOOD CREST ─ Borough commissioners have discussed imposing costs upon property owners for “excessive use of municipal services.” Property owners who fail to address concerns raised by the public or borough will be fined for lack of compliance. Should issues remain unchanged, the mercantile license may be taken. In past discussions, the borough solicitor said the ordinance addresses “actual disturbances of the peace.”

According to the ordinance, residential properties consisting of a “one through four dwelling units” with five qualifying calls meet the criteria while all other types (hotel/motels, commercial/retail uses and restaurants) qualify at 10 calls.
