Parking Amendment OK’d

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood City Council passed an ordinance July 2, which amended parking on Olde New Jersey Avenue.
According to the ordinance, no person or vehicle may park “beginning on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend until the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, from 9 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday, and from 9 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.”
Designated areas include between First and Spruce avenues. Mayor Patrick Rosenello said public safety demanded measures be taken.
According to the mayor, North Wildwood Police tried meeting with Uber and Lyft, but no meeting was arranged. Rosenello said the times may be “tweaked” if necessary.
