DENNISVILLE – Dennis Township Committee unanimously passed a resolution Dec. 12, with members Tom VanArtsdalen and Scott Turner absent, to authorize and ratify the issuance of a preliminary notice of disciplinary action.
The Herald followed up with Mayor Zeth Matalucci and Business Administrator Patrick Moran regarding more specifics.
Both asked that an OPRA (Open Public Records Act) request be filed about the related “Rice” notification named after a court case that held such notification is required when a public body is going to discuss an individual’s employment. Matalucci referred to an email that the township solicitor would need to review as to which parts could be released. This email is noted as “Re: Press Release – Complaint; From: Kimberly Herron; To: Zeth Matalucci; Date: 2018-10-16, 14:27.”
