OCEAN CITY — On April 14, the Ocean City Police Department along with the Cape May County Prosecutors Office, will be conducting a large scale multi-agency active shooter drill at the Ocean City High School.
The drill area will encompass a one-block area north/south of the high school to Asbury Avenue.
This drill will allow the Ocean City Police Department to test its capabilities in coordinating a large-scale response to an active shooter situation. The drill will also be a test for our mutual aid contingent on their response.
Traffic restrictions will be in effect within the drill area on this date. Residents-business owners will be allowed access to their properties but must understand that delays may occur.
