OCEAN CITY — During the week of Sunday, Jan. 11 to Saturday, Jan. 17, Ocean City Police Department resonded to 632 calls for service, an average of 90 per day.
The following is a list of the more serious calls:
January 11, 2009: Sunday

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENTS:
• The Ocean City Police Department is proud to announce that we are participating in this year’s Presidential Inauguration event in Washington D.C. We are sending 10 Officers to Washington to assist with security during this event. The Officers selected came from a group of over 30 volunteers that submitted their names to attend the event from the department.
• A reminder to drive cautiously during the winter months. Bridges and roadways may freeze without warning causing dangerous driving conditions.
