OCEAN CITY – During the week of Sept. 7-Sept. 13, the Ocean City Police Department responded to 630 calls for service.

-The Police Department assisted with 6 Fire and 5 EMS calls
-Harassment, 600 block Simpson Ave., one in custody, at 12:04am

-Motor vehicle accident, 1200 block West Ave., at 12:49pm
-Theft, 700 block Asbury Ave., at 1:35pm
-Theft, 800 block Atlantic Ave., at 3:48pm

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-Just a reminder that it is a violation of a City Ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
-City Ordinance 87-17sec.4-32 prohibits any Boat/Trailer over 22 feet in overall length from being parked on a city street. Any boat/trailer less than 22 feet in overall length can only remain on a city street for three consecutive days. Officers will be issuing summons and towing boats/trailers for any observed violations.
