OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Police Department reported their activities for the week of April 15, 2012 – April 21, 2012. Police responded to 591 calls for service, a daily average of 84.
Sun., April 15, 2012:
Calls for service: 73
Motor Vehicle Stops: 23 Motor Vehicle Accidents: 1 Property Checks: 11 Alarms: 1
-The Police Department assisted with 3 Fire and 2 EMS calls
-Theft investigation, 400 block 50th St., at 9:24 a.m.
-Motor vehicle accident, no injuries reported, 800 block Plymouth Pl., at 1:30 p.m.
-DWI investigation, 800 block Central Ave., one in custody, at 10:20 p.m.
Mon., April 16, 2012:
Calls for service: 72
Motor Vehicle Stops: 25 Motor Vehicle Accidents: 4 Property Checks: 12 Alarms: 2
-The Police Department assisted with 5 Fire and 4 EMS calls

-Just a reminder that it is a violation of a City Ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
