OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Police Department reported their activities for the week of March 11, 2012 – March 17, 2012. Police responded to 578 calls for service, a daily average of 82.
Sun., March 11, 2012:
Calls for service: 75
Motor Vehicle Stops: 19 Motor Vehicle Accidents: 0 Property Checks: 23 Alarms: 1
-The Police Department assisted with 5 Fire and 3 EMS calls
-Theft investigation, Bass Ct., at 8:53 a.m.
-Verbal dispute, 600 block Wesley Ave., at 11:59 a.m.
-Burglary investigation, 600 block Wesley Ave., at 12:47 p.m.
-CDS investigation, 800 block West Ave., at 1:47 p.m.
-Criminal mischief investigation, 1100 block Wesley Ave., at 3:56 p.m.
-Domestic violence investigation, 600 block Wesley Ave., at 10:23 p.m.
Mon., March 12, 2012:
Calls for service: 69
Motor Vehicle Stops: 16 Motor Vehicle Accidents: 1 Property Checks: 19 Alarms: 2

-Just a reminder that it is a violation of a City Ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
-When driving on Route 52 please remain alert for sudden stops due to ongoing construction.
