OCEAN CITY – During the week of March 14 through March 20, the Ocean City Police Department responded to 719 calls, or about 103 calls per day.
March 14, 2010: Sunday

• The Police Department assisted with 11 Fire and 6 EMS calls

• All Residents and Merchants are advised that the Ocean City Community Oriented Policing Unit will conduct security surveys of your home or business. The Officer will then be able to make suggestions about improving the security of your home or business based on his observations. Please contact the COP Unit at (609) 525-9108 to schedule a Security Survey.
• All Residents and visitors are reminded that there are new traffic patterns on 9th Street between West Avenue and the Route 52 Causeway. Please be alert and observe all signs and police officers directions when utilizing this roadway. Delays can be expected during heavy traffic hours and on weekends.
• Just a reminder that it is a violation of a City Ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
