PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENTS:
• The Police Department is taking an aggressive approach at enforcing Driving While Intoxicated Laws over the upcoming Holiday Season. There will be increased patrols throughout the month that will assist our normal patrols in enforcing these violations and other motor vehicle laws.
• The Ocean City Police Dept. is working toward making your neighborhood and great place to live. If you have a quality of life issue that you want addressed by the police please contact us immediately so that we may help you resolve the problem.
• Patrolman Jon Vogt has been named the K-9 Officer for the new Unit being developed within the police department. Patrolman Vogt not only had to go through an interview process but also a rigorous physical trial. The K-9 dog will be named at a press conference on Dec. 9, 2008 at the Primary School.
