OCEAN CITY – The Department of Fire and Rescue Services has announced that the Ocean City Beach Patrol will no longer guard the following beaches as of Aug. 20:
Seaview Road, 17th Street,
Waverly Blvd (Surfing Beach) 20th Street
Atlantic Blvd. 48th Street
13th Street, 60th Street
16th Street surfing beach
The following beaches will remain guarded. Beaches in Ocean City are guarded weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sespray Road, 15th Street
Surf Road, 18th Street
North Street, 22nd Street
Stenton Place, 24th Street
St. Charles Place, 26th Street
28th Street
Delancy Place, 30th Street
Park Place, 32nd Street
Brighton Place (guarded until 7) 34th Street (guard until 7)
Fifth Street, 36th Street
Seventh Street, 39th Street
Eighth Street (guard until 7), 42nd Street
Ninth Street (guarded until 7), 44th Street
10th Street, 46th Street
11th Street, 50th Street
12th Street (guarded until 7), 53rd Street
14th Street, 55th Street, 58th Street
