Numerous Mailboxes Damaged in Lower Township

ERMA — Early Wednesday morning, at approximately 5 a.m. on Nov. 23rd, Lower Township Patrol Officers began finding numerous smashed or damaged mail boxes throughout the Bayside Village area in the Villas Section of Lower Township.
Officers reported the following streets had multiple mail boxes destroyed or damaged:
Shadeland Avenue
Cedardale Avenue
Hollywood Avenue
Village Road
The damaged mail boxes come on a string of criminal mischief incidents reported lately
throughout the township.
Police are asking anyone who may have information on these incidents to contact the Lower
Township Police Department’s Safe Neighborhoods Tip Line at 609-886-1619, ext. 156 or
Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 609-465-2800. All information will remain confidential
and may be reported anonymously.
