North Wildwood Police Release January Statistics

NORTH WILDWOOD — City police handled 3,775 calls during the month of February. Included in that number were two calls for motor vehicle accidents; 15 thefts; four burglaries; three fraud cases; one simple assault; and seven drug offenses.
Other incidents included 249 motor vehicle stops; 135 motor vehicle summonses issued; 50 medical assists; seven recovered stolen items; one criminal mischief complaint; 26 disorderly conduct incidents; 17 animal complaints; and 47 false burglar alarms.
78 people were arrested, which included 76 adults. There were four drunken driving arrests. Additional calls covered 16 other agencies.
