NORTH WILDWOOD — City Police handled 2,684 calls for the period April 1st through April 30, 2011.
Police answered eight Motor vehicle accidents, five thefts, two burglaries, three fraud cases, two simple assaults, and one drug offense.
Other incidents included 54 disorderly persons offenses, 12 malicious property damage calls, 336 traffic enforcement, 105 summonses were issued, 61 medical incidents, 11 animal complaints and the department responded to 23 false burglar alarms
Sixty-five persons were arrested which included 65 adults and there were four drunken driving arrests.1,354 residential and business property checks were conducted.
There were 22 false fire alarms in April. Additional calls covered 21 other agency assists. There were 309 miscellaneous services. 23 beach and boardwalk permits were processed and $785.75 in fee collections was forwarded to the city clerk.
Department personnel attended five schools during April.
