NORTH WILDWOOD – The Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon will take place on Aug. 24.
According to a release, detours will be set up in North Wildwood, starting at 4 a.m. The triathlon begins at 6:30 a.m. with detours expected to be in place until approximately 10:30 a.m. North Wildwood police officers will be assigned to traffic posts throughout the route.
Commuters can expect road closures northbound and westbound on the following streets:
JFK Beach Drive, Second Avenue, Surf Avenue, First Avenue, Central Avenue, and Anglesea Drive.
Spruce Avenue will have lanes open for traffic off and on of the island across the Beach Creek Bridge.
No parking will be allowed during the morning of Aug. 24 in the following areas:
Anglesea Drive from Allen Drive to Spruce Avenue, Anglesea Drive from New York Avenue to Windsor Avenue, and Spruce Avenue from Olde New Jersey Avenue to New York Avenue.
