NORTH WILDWOOD – After individuals were spotted smoking in the gazebo adjacent to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, North Wildwood City Council added two locations to its no-smoking ordinance. The individuals were seen after the last Full Moon Climb June 28.
Mayor Patrick Rosenello commented on the dangers of smoking in a wooded area, such as the gazebo. City Clerk Scott Jett announced the ordinance includes the lighthouse grounds and Margret Mace Memorial Park, at Central and Spruce avenues. Council passed the amendment July 16.
