No Bikes on Promenade

STONE HARBOR – Stone Harbor Borough Council adopted an ordinance on July 3 that bans the use of bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or “any other means of conveyance” on the surface of the borough Promenade from 80th to 83rd Streets on First Avenue.
The ban is in effect at all times and takes effect 10 days after passage.
Violators are subject to a penalty of up to 16 days community service or $100 fine.
