AVALON – In September, a developer sought Avalon Borough Council’s approval of easement realignment on Seventh Street to proceed with plans to build three homes on an oversized lot containing one. Over 15 homeowners in the area neighboring the site sent letters of opposition to the council. On Oct. 25, Avalon officials recommended no action on the easement request given the importance of the easement to the maintenance of an outfall pipe. They recommended a more in-depth study of the flooding patterns in the area.
