STONE HARBOR – Stone Harbor Borough Council heard the capital budget request Nov. 5 for the Public Works Department for 2020. The request included new modular restrooms to replace the modular facilities in use at 95th Street and the beach.
Plans for a new Beach Patrol building also include a new restroom building for that area. That construction is further in the future.
Public Works Director Grant Russ told council that he hoped to move ahead with the modular facilities for 95th Street in 2020, and then relocate them to 123rd Street, when the Beach Patrol Headquarters at 95th Street is completed.
