“The themes of this year’s entries were so creative,” Fulginiti said. “The Cape May County Animal Shelter, county roads, beaches, courts, deed recording, elections, marshes and sea life were among this year’s clever entries.”
The annual event is hosted by the Constitutional Officers during April National County Government Month to bring awareness of the function of county government to fourth graders, who regularly study the topic as part of their curriculum. The winning posters will be on display April 19-30 in the West Lobby of the Cape May County Court House. The winning posters will be featured on a 2010-2011 color poster calendar distributed to the winners and 2010-2011 fourth grade class.
The 12 winners will be honored at a special awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 21 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cape May County Court House, Jury Assembly Room.
