COURT HOUSE – On March 5, Middle Township Committee adopted an ordinance setting new fees for certificates for “Birth, Death, Marriage and Domestic Partnerships or Civil Unions.”
Certified copies of the initial page of any of these documents will carry a fee of $25. Long-form copies are $25 for the initial page and $2 for each additional page. Additional copies of the same record ordered at the same time will cost $2.
Verifications within Cape May County are $0.50 each and out of county or out of state $1.
The ordinance also established a corrections fee for all vital records of $25.
