Middle Twp Chief of Police Sworn In at FBI National Academy Associates

COURT HOUSE — Feb. 12 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey Middle Township Chief of Police Christopher M. Leusner was sworn in as President of the FBI National Academy Associates New Jersey Chapter by Special Agent in Charge of the Newark Field Office, Aaron Ford. The FBINAA New Jersey Chapter’s mission is to provide the membership with continuing education, training, research, and professional development opportunities in law enforcement disciplines which will promote improved law enforcement cooperation, services, and standards of profession conduct in all levels of law enforcement.
“This is a great honor for Chief Leusner, as well as a great opportunity to raise the profile and enhance the already stellar reputation of the MTPD,” Mayor Tim Donohue said. “Chief Leusner and his supervising officers continue to implement innovative and proactive approaches to policing that make our department the most effectively and efficiently operated in the County.”
Chief Leusner’s term is for the calendar year of 2014. His duties will require travel throughout the state and to Quantico, Virginia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Camp Dawson, West Virginia.
