COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township Police Department will be holding a Press Conference and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the opening of the Rio Grande Sub-Station located at 1602 Route 47 South in Rio Grande May 26 at 11:00 a.m. The Rio Grande Sub-Station will be a fully functional Police Station operating twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty five days a year. Residents and visitors will be able access the services of the Middle Township Police Department by simply walking into the lobby of the Rio Grande Sub-Station and picking up the phone, just as if you traveled to Middle Township Police Department headquarters in Cape May Court House. Following the ceremony, the Rio Grande Sub-Station will be open to the public for an open house until 1:00 p.m., where pretzels donated by Philly Pretzel Factory will be served along with refreshments.
